Common Feedback for Assignment 1 PLE #ETC545

Here are the common feedback for our Assignment 1 PLE to help you to understand the purposes of our assignment activities.

Twitter

  • Check your Twitter so you know what course announcements are without visiting BBLearn.
  • Need supports from the classmates.  Twitter about your questions with hashtag #ETC545 in your tweet.  Many students check your twitter more frequently than their e-mail.
  • If you prefer not to tweet, you can check “Protect my tweets.” Only people who follow you can see your tweets.
  • Here is a tip that I learned from previous students. They have their unique hashtag to communicate with one another to get group work done.
  • You can see our classmates’ tweets at: https://twitter.com/ETC545/fall2012

Delicious

  • We will use this for our Assignment 4 Group Wiki Presentation.  Every day we bookmark many bookmarks on our own computers.  Delicious is a great way to share and organize bookmarks by using tags.  Besides the assignment 8, when you bookmark on Delicious, you can use different tags to share with different group of people.  For example, use “ETC545, Group1” to share with your group, or use “ETC545” to share with the class.  Want to see previous students’ Delicious bookmarks: http://delicious.com/tag/ETC545 This collaborative intelligence is growing constantly.

Gmail

  • We will use Gmail and Google Docs to submit some of our assignment.
