I hope all is well.
I have been working with Dr. Michelle Miller (UC, Psychology, and author of Minds Online: Teaching Effectively With Technology) to develop a Bb Learn module called Attention Matters!. This is designed to be a resource to be used by students to develop their own sense of their understanding of attention issues in their learning.
Michelle is getting many requests from far afield based on her book to get access to this module. We can easily share the Bb Learn version of it. However, not all colleges are on Bb Learn. So, to the point of this note. Would you have an Ed Tech student in need of an internship (either at the Masters or Doctoral level) who could translate the Bb Learn version of the module to the top three LMSs and to a web version (perhaps a Google site). Each version would need an accompanying instructors guide based on the one we've already written, but with a focus on the destination LMS/site. Finally, the project would involve the development of a lesson plan for inclusion of Attention Matters! into any lower division undergraduate course.
Further, we are planning on submitting a paper on Attention Matters! to the Teaching Professor Technology conference in October 2015, so there is also a potential presentation opportunity.
You can self-enroll in Attention Matters! at http://bit.ly/AttentionMatters.
If there is a student you'd think would fit or who would appreciate the opportunity please let me know.
