Winter 2022 funding: Laura Bassi Scholarship

I hope all is really well. I am writing to share the updated notice for the Laura Bassi Scholarship. I would be grateful if you could once again share it with your department as well as extended network of colleagues who might know of interested master's and doctoral candidates (and junior academics). Here are the new details:

The Laura Bassi Scholarship was established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. The scholarships are open to every discipline and the next round of funding will be awarded in Winter 2022:

Winter 2022
Application deadline: 1 December 2022
Results: 13 December 2022

All currently enrolled master's and doctoral candidates are eligible to apply, as are academics in the first five years of full-time employment. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form along with their CV through the application portal by the relevant deadline. Further details, including previous winners, and the application portal can be found at: https://editing.press/bassi

Please let me know if it would also be helpful to receive a PDF poster with the above details.

All the best,

Charles Anderson

School Computing Policy

Question: Assignment 2, question 12. School's computing policies. I don't have teaching experiences or any school affiliation yet, what should I do?  Answer: We can select any school's or school district's computing policy. If you know which school you may be teaching it, its policy could be a good one. Or you can just select the one from your local schools.  Generally, schools or school districts should publish their policy on the website. For example, here is the one from the Kyrene school district. https://www.kyrene.org/Page/21478
