Welcome to ETC545 & Module 1 Notes

Welcome to ETC545!

Our first week of instructions is Module 1 (Orientation and Lesson 1). During the first week, we need to prepare our class by setting up our Personal Learning Environment (PLE). Our class will engage us in many online technology production tasks.  Online technology productions generally are very time consuming; therefore, we should prepare our course activities as early as possible and avoid any last minute work since frequently we need to problem solve on technical issues.  Don’t worry!  I will do my best to help you.

If you do see any broken links, and the instructions that don’t make sense to you, please let me know ASAP.  Sometimes some links and instructions may not be migrated completely from session to session.

Module 1 (Orientation & Lesson 1)

06/06-06/12

06/09, Thursday

  • Due: 1st posting period for Module 1 discussions: Respond to ALL KEY discussion questions.

06/12, Sunday

·      Due: 2nd posting period for Module 1 discussions: TWO or more postings: Respond to others' postings. Total SIX postings at least for this module.

·      Due: Assignment 1: PLE setup

·      Module 2 (Lesson 2 & 3) readings.

 

Remember, we may work alone but we should work together.  I am just an e-mail away.  Do not hesitate to contact me whenever you need any support.  You can e-mail me at Chih.Tu@nau.edu since I check my NAU e-mail more often than BBLearn e-mail. 

Our class is in 4 weeks and two days format; therefore, it is very intensive.  Don’t fall behind!
