Educause Online 2011 schedule posted

Mark your calendars! The Educause Online 2011 Conference begins on Wednesday, October 19, and runs through Friday, October 21. For a complete listing of the sessions in which we'll be participating, see the schedule for each day posted on Confluence at https://confluence.nau.edu/x/SwJsAg. Login with your NAU userID and password, and then join us in theITS Annex Conference Room, Building 54A.

Many of the sessions will be video streamed live from the conference in Philadelphia, including General Sessions with keynote speakers each day. There will also be online-only expert discussions, and a virtual exhibit hall. We will be watching the presentations as a group and interacting with fellow participants through chat.

You are welcome to bring your breakfast, snacks, and/or lunch – stay for one session, or all day. Coffee, tea, and a few snacks will be provided.

Let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to pass this on!

School Computing Policy

Question: Assignment 2, question 12. School's computing policies. I don't have teaching experiences or any school affiliation yet, what should I do?  Answer: We can select any school's or school district's computing policy. If you know which school you may be teaching it, its policy could be a good one. Or you can just select the one from your local schools.  Generally, schools or school districts should publish their policy on the website. For example, here is the one from the Kyrene school district. https://www.kyrene.org/Page/21478
