Information about Elluminate

Q: What is the Elluminate for?  This is the most asked question from our Elluminate session.

A: Elluminate is an online conferencing system.  It allows us to communicate via text, audio, video, and multimedia.  We use the Elluminate for us to meet and to answer your questions.  We will use the Elluminate for our final unit presentation.  If you have not used Elluminate before, it is highly recommended that you participate in our Elluminate session with me or use our Elluminate presentation room to learn how to it.  NAU has Elluminate site license.  It is free for NAU students to use.  ETC545 Elluminate presentation rooms are 24/7.  You can visit it anytime you want.

Group 1 can use Room 1 to record your presentations. If the rooms are not taken by any group, feel free to use them to learn the Elluminate.

If you are not familiar with Elluminate, be sure to go over Elluminate Q & A prepared by E-Learning Center at NAU.

School Computing Policy

Question: Assignment 2, question 12. School's computing policies. I don't have teaching experiences or any school affiliation yet, what should I do?  Answer: We can select any school's or school district's computing policy. If you know which school you may be teaching it, its policy could be a good one. Or you can just select the one from your local schools.  Generally, schools or school districts should publish their policy on the website. For example, here is the one from the Kyrene school district. https://www.kyrene.org/Page/21478
