Module 4: Instructor’s Notes & Digest #1

Below are a few notes and digests to help us to wrap our last module. Check the course announcement as often as possible because we may have additional shared information to help you conclude the class.

After 6/30, continue checking the class announcements and email regularly until you see your grades for the course grade. Often, I may need you to clarify some questions to your units and other requirements.

Check the gradebook to make sure you receive grades for each assignment and discussion etc.

·         Module 4 Discussion: Which three to review?

  • Q: Is it ok to ask my reviews to check my unit to see anything missing?
    • A: Yes, it is ok. But remember they are not obligated to do so. Be sure to review all received feedback and comments. You can apply them to help you to complete your unit.
  • TIP
    • Besides the three that you are assigned to review, review the one(s) that use the same LMS or tools you do. It will help you to see how others integrate these technologies.

School Computing Policy

Question: Assignment 2, question 12. School's computing policies. I don't have teaching experiences or any school affiliation yet, what should I do?  Answer: We can select any school's or school district's computing policy. If you know which school you may be teaching it, its policy could be a good one. Or you can just select the one from your local schools.  Generally, schools or school districts should publish their policy on the website. For example, here is the one from the Kyrene school district. https://www.kyrene.org/Page/21478
