School Computing Policy

Question: Assignment 2, question 12. School's computing policies. I don't have teaching experiences or any school affiliation yet, what should I do?

Answer: We can select any school's or school district's computing policy. If you know which school you may be teaching it, its policy could be a good one. Or you can just select the one from your local schools.  Generally, schools or school districts should publish their policy on the website. For example, here is the one from the Kyrene school district. https://www.kyrene.org/Page/21478

  1. Professor, I said yes on A2, since I know most of the teachers at my children's school use the LMS and NT that I am using. They also do not have it posted on their website nor in the parent handbook so I figured since they are fairly common they should be good to go.

Also, side note: I did the G+add on for word cloud. I just keep waiting for a situation to arise to get to use it. I think that is the one you used to do the word cloud for our class challenges.

  2. Computing policy isn't always is to locate. It is important to check with the school when we integrate any technology into our teaching.

The word cloud tool I used is Wordcloud: https://www.wordclouds.com/ It is free!
